Kolisi Foundation Announces Exciting Partnership with Tashas Group
Cape Town, July 10, 2024 – The Kolisi Foundation is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Tashas Group. The collaboration highlights the power of community and corporate partnerships in driving meaningful social impact. This partnership aims to further support and amplify the Kolisi Foundation’s Community Kitchen initiative, with the Group committing to support a community kitchen on a monthly basis for the next year as well as other activities.
“We are incredibly grateful to have corporate partners like Tashas Group that come into our space and work alongside us,” said Lauren Budde, Partnership Manager at the Kolisi Foundation. “Their commitment goes beyond a one-off contribution or donation. They are dedicated to making a sustained impact in our communities.”
The Community Kitchen programme, started in 2021, aims to provide nutritious meals to those in need, fostering a sense of community and support. Tashas’ monthly support will significantly enhance our ability to serve people and create a lasting difference within their communities. To date the programme has 34 community kitchens and provides meals for almost 780 000 people each year.
